About the role
Tottington High School, part of the Shaw Education Trust, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a long-term, full-time basis. You will supervise classes across the school when teachers are absent, with a particular focus on supporting the Computer Science department.
You will work closely with subject staff to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a productive learning environment, and act as a positive role model for our students.
What you’ll be doing
- Supervising classes across the school in the absence of the class teacher
- Supporting and delivering pre-planned lessons, particularly within Computer Science
- Maintaining a calm, focused, and positive classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with students and staff
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community
