Salary: £150 – £300 per day, depending on the role | Weekly PAYE pay

About the Role

Connex Education is recruiting dedicated Maths Teachers to support secondary schools in Cirencester and the surrounding Cotswold areas from September 2026. We are working with a range of schools offering both short-term and long-term opportunities, making this an excellent option for experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexibility and career development.
With schools located across both town and rural settings, applicants who can drive and have access to their own transport will be particularly well-suited to these opportunities.
You’ll play an important role in helping students develop key mathematical skills, preparing them for examinations and future success while creating a positive and engaging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that challenge and inspire learners.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Build a positive classroom culture that promotes confidence, resilience, and achievement.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support continued development.
• Encourage logical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and effective problem-solving skills.

Person Specification
• QTS is preferred, although experienced secondary Maths specialists are welcome to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the location of some schools.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education.
