The role
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons, encouraging students to develop teamwork, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.
You will:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and support student progress and attainment
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations
- Undertake the full responsibilities and timetable of a classroom teacher
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
This is a full-time position working 32.5 hours per week during term time.

What we’re looking for
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be confident delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Have the right to work in the UK
