Salary: £475 – £500 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Hoylake, who are seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with SEND, following their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan). This pupil will need support with behaviour, communication and language.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience supporting children with SEND and a calm and patient approach.

Assignment Details
This role runs Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm). The position starts September 2026 and is likely to continue long term for the right person.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.

- Demonstrates strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.

- Sound understanding of classroom roles, routines, and expectations, and how to contribute effectively to these.

- Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in a school setting.
