Connex Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Pinxton Village Academies for an outstanding Primary PPA Teacher to join their team from September.

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate working across the three academy sites—Kirkstead Junior Academy, John King Infant Academy and Longwood Infant Academy—delivering high-quality teaching across the full primary age range from Reception through to Year 6.

This role would suit an experienced teacher who enjoys variety and is confident adapting their teaching style to meet the needs of pupils across different year groups and school settings.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality PPA cover across EYFS to Year 6

• Teach across the three Pinxton Village Academy schools

• Maintain continuity of learning through engaging, well-planned lessons

• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in every classroom

• Build strong working relationships with pupils, teachers and school leaders

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative school environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has significant experience teaching across the primary age range

• Is highly adaptable and confident teaching from Reception to Year 6

• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Can quickly establish positive relationships in new environments

• Delivers consistently high standards of teaching and learning

• Is organised, flexible and able to work effectively across multiple school sites

This is a role for a strong and experienced classroom practitioner who is confident working independently and maintaining excellent standards across a variety of classes.

Location

The academies are based in Pinxton (NG16) and are easily accessible from Sutton-in-Ashfield, Alfreton, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Huthwaite, Mansfield, Ripley, Chesterfield and Nottingham, with excellent transport links via the M1 (Junction 28) and A38.
