Connex Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term role from September until October Half Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during an important stage of their learning journey. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help deliver engaging classroom activities, provide support to small groups and individual pupils, and contribute to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.
The school has a strong community ethos and is proud of the supportive relationships between pupils, staff and families. Staff work collaboratively to ensure children feel safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Conveniently located with excellent transport links, the school is easily accessible from Derby, Ripley, Belper, Heanor and surrounding areas, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates across Derbyshire.
Vacancy Details
• Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
• Knowledge of Key Stage 1 or phonics is beneficial
• Positive, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
