Rate of Pay: £140 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging PE lessons to secondary-aged pupils.
• Promote participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain positive behaviour and effective classroom management.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupils’ progress.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.

Job Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred; applications are also welcomed from unqualified teachers and experienced sports coaches.
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
• A genuine passion for PE, sport and supporting young people.
• Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
