Our social values are rooted in doing the right thing and using our business as a force for positive change. We are committed to levelling up communities by improving access to quality education, supporting social mobility, promoting health and wellbeing, and protecting the environment. Through inclusive practices, funded training pathways and meaningful community investment, we strive to create fairer opportunities for pupils, schools and education professional, regardless of background or postcode.
We donated over 200 winter coats for children across our partner Shaw Education Trust’s schools. Together ensuring that every child stays warm, cared for and ready to learn.
Our Nottingham branch has partnered with olympic gymnast Sam Oldham to provide a free assembly to our schools. Sam talks to the kids about resilience and determination.
Some of our team completed the Deadly Dozen in Macclesfield, which includes 12 x 400m runs and 12 intense bodyweight exercise stations. Raising money for Magic Breakfast.
Our Liverpool director Hannah embarked on the adventure of a lifetime, scaling and climbing Mount Toubkal in Morocco with Altitude Trekking, all in support of Magic Breakfast.
As well as providing coaching support throughout the years, Connex have also provided sponsorship to 2 Middlesbrough teams supporting them with Kits, Training Gear, Trophies and kitting them out for a trip to Spain.
Giving back to our partner schools is a priority for us. Throughout the year, we support them through donations, fundraising hampers, food parcels, Christmas gifts for children in care, and rewards for students to recognise their hard work.
We attended a community lunch at a SEND school in the Vale of Glamorgan, where we supported the work on a carpentry memorial project. Connex Education was proud to support the work, and Celine returned in June 2025 to see the impressive finished space.
One of our Recruitment Consultants, Marc Pollitt, completed the Manchester Half Marathon in support of Magic Breakfast.
Connex is a lead partner/creator of the UK’s first climate change and sustainability programme for schools. Teacher led programme with over 100 resources, lesson plans, animations, experiments.Â
At Connex, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. We’re also proud to maintain some of the highest safeguarding standards in the sector, reflecting our commitment to the wellbeing of our team and the people we work with.Â
As part of this, we’ve appointed trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) across our organisation. While not therapists, they offer non-judgemental support and can guide colleagues towards further help through self-help resources, the NHS, or employer support services.
