Our Cover Supervisor Academy is aimed at upskilling unqualified and inexperienced candidates that either want to become a teacher in the future or have a passion for working with children and young people in schools.

Our expert instructors have created a cover supervisor training programme that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for this crucial role. This blended learning programme includes the following:

You will complete a series of online courses including – Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and Cover Supervision.
A day at a local partnered school where you will deliver a short 15-minute micro-teach session on a topic of their choice
Meet and greet with the cover manager, tour of school and introduction to the school’s policies/ethos including behaviour management policies
If you want to develop your skills further, you can progress onto formal TA/HLTA qualifications.

Candidates that wish to progress to a qualified teacher have the opportunity to train through our partner company The Teacher Training Partnership (TTP).
