About the Role
Are you a passionate teacher who loves seeing students thrive outside the traditional classroom?
We’re looking for a kind, adaptable, and experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to work with children who need a more personalised learning approach. You’ll be teaching students with a variety of special educational needs – including autism (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH, and global developmental delay – and helping them achieve their goals in a way that truly suits them.
As a tutor, you’ll:
✨ Deliver fun, tailored sessions based on each student’s needs, EHCP, and learning style
✨ Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families
✨ Track progress and celebrate those small (and big!) wins
✨ Teach in the student’s home, school, learning centre – or even online
Who We’re Looking For
✔ A Qualified Teacher (QTS or QTLS)
✔ Confident working with children with SEND in any setting
✔ Someone who brings patience, empathy, and creativity to every session
✔ Great at staying organised and communicating clearly
✔ Happy to get a DBS on the Update Service (if you don’t have one already – we’ll help!)
✔ Up to date with safeguarding (or open to training)
