I am currently working with a wonderful primary school located in the Southport area who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant, who can work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 4 in the morning and a child in Year 5 in the afternoon.
The role will be split between both classes and both children have physical disabilities so the role will require some personal care; and the ideal teaching assistant will have training in manual handling. This role will start after Easter and will be until the end of the academic year.
You will be joining an excellent team of supportive staff and the school has an excellent reputation within the community.

Qualifications and requirements:
- You must have recent and relevant experience.
- It is essential that you have a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC)
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
- Manual handling training would be beneficial.
