About the role
Connex Education is seeking three experienced FE Lecturers or Qualified Teachers to join our Home Tuition team for an exciting opportunity to provide in-person tuition to an A Level student.
This flexible role allows you to manage your own schedule while working closely with a student outside of a traditional classroom environment, giving you a unique chance to directly witness the impact of your teaching on their learning progress.
Our student has a diagnosis of ASD and SEMD, they are seeking tutors to support their learning within Psychology, German and French at A level. The individual has been out of the classroom environment for some time and thrives from 1 on 1 support due to their needs.
We are seeking a tutors who will be able to provide a calm, nurturing environment, whilst fostering the development of the student’s confidence and skill set. The sessions will be once a week in person with the student in the B28 Area.
Assignment Details
This role is a September start and will last until the end of the academic year.
Person Specification
- QTS / QTLS / PTLLS/ DTTLS/ DET
- Ability/ Confidence to teach to A Level
- Previous experience working with SEN Students would be desirable.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
- An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
- Driving license (Preferred).
