This role will be working at Alternative Provision School in the centre of Nottingham City as Science tutor/teacher. The school will accept unqualified teachers as well
The School has Outstanding ofsted Rating,
You must feel confident teaching up to BTEC level.
The school is looking for staff who are open to a view to permanent employment, the role will involve working Monday to Friday. The school is easy to reach via public transport either via Tram, bus or train.
As the successful teacher , you will possess the following:
- PGCE or QTS Status or good understanding of Science , the school will also take unqualified teachers
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
- Empathetic attitude and understanding of complex behaviour
- Ability to adapt to situations
- Understanding of school and classroom environments
- Good understanding of positive behaviour support
- Strong and resilient personality
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- New Teachers welcome
- Strong understanding and confidence in delivering the curriculum of the subject
- Be able to commute Nottingham
- Be Confident working on a 1:1 to one basis.
