Do you hold a qualification in BSL/British Sign Language?
Do you have previous experience as a TA/Teaching Assistant or similar relevant experience working with children or young adults?
Are you confident working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to aid their learning?
Connex are working with a primary school based in Shard End who are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting individuals with hearing impairments. The school requires the individual to have at least level 1 or more ideally level 3 in British Sign Language
To be considered for the position of BSL Teaching Assistant you must:
• Hold Level 1 minimum British Sign Language Qualification and recent experience using this
• Previous experience supporting children and young adults with hearing impairments
