About the Role
Connex Education is working with a well-regarded and inclusive primary school in the Chelmsford area to recruit a passionate and committed KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher for a long-term supply role, starting in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Support behaviour for learning and promote high expectations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
Assignment Details
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
- Long-term supply for the full academic year, with the potential for extension or permanent opportunity
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Strong understanding of effective classroom management and inclusive practices
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex
