Key Role Highlights and Responsibilities
As a Classroom Assistant, you will benefit from a nurturing and accelerated journey across a range of subjects in multiple year groups.
– Graduates from all subject specialisms are welcome to apply. Must be driven and passionate about improving outcomes for children.
– Committed and motivated to become an educator, supporting teaching and learning for children and young people.
– Deliver and review lessons appropriate for pupils across KS3/KS4 with full support and training provided.
– Engage with other class teachers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop reflective classroom practice.
Essential Requirements
– Previous experience working with young people within a similar setting is essential.
– Graduates from all subject specialisms are encouraged to apply.
– To support children aged 11 – 18 you must be 21 years or over.
– Minimum grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
– Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
