About the Role
Connex Education / Supply Pool is recruiting Classroom Support staff to work in partnership with a school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in SEND in education supporting pupils with PMLD, ASC, ADHD, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
This role can be a temp to perm role for the right candidates

ASC/ADHD
Attachment difficulties
Trauma backgrounds
Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

What You’ll Need
✅ Previous experience working with challenging behaviour in a school, youth work, or similar education/care setting
✅ Ability to implement de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour management strategies
✅ Confidence and composure when managing difficult situations
✅ Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils
✅ Calm, empathetic, and solution-focused attitude
✅ Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
✅ Proof of right to work in the UK (required to apply)
