Connex Education is recruiting confident and motivated Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Bath (Banes) and the surrounding area. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain focused on their work and maintaining a positive learning environment throughout the school day.
Your Role Will Include
• Leading lessons using work that has been prepared by teaching staff.
• Monitoring student engagement and encouraging participation in learning activities.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Supporting students to remain on task and meet lesson objectives.
• Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.

We’re Looking For Candidates Who
• Have experience working with young people, either in education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar settings.
• Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
• Are confident leading groups of students in a classroom environment.
• Can adapt quickly and build positive relationships with staff and pupils.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
