About The Role
Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary academy in Worksop. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. You will encourage students to remain focused and engaged with their work, establish a calm and purposeful classroom atmosphere and manage behaviour consistently in line with the academy’s expectations. The successful candidate will be confident supporting students aged 11–16, building positive relationships and creating an environment where students feel motivated and supported. You will be organised, adaptable and approachable, with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff. This role would suit graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to develop their career within education.
