I am recruiting or a Cover Supervisor to work in a well-established Secondary schools in Sunderland
This is the perfect role for somebody who is wanting to gain classroom experience within a secondary school.
Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £350 – £480 per week, with weekly pay
Contract Type: Full Time/Part Time, Long Term/Short Term
Start Date: ASAP
The role;
– All subjects will be covered in this role, but the lessons will be set, therefore you will need to follow the lesson plan set by the teacher
– Explain the lesson plan to the students and ensure that they are completing this
– Ensure the students are working efficiently and behaviour management is efffective
– Collect work in at the end of the lesson; provide feedback to the school
As a successful Cover Supervisor you will have;
– Relevant qualifications and have recent experience in a classroom and/or tutoring
– Good knowledge of the national curriculum
– Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
– Be prepared to work at short notice or pre-booked wherever possible
– The ability to work to the school’s scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
– Good time management
