We are currently recruiting for a large Multi Academy Trust client in Birmingham, who are looking for Cover Supervisors to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced cover supervisors to work in both day to day and longer term assignments.
The role of a Cover Supervisor:
Supporting teachers and students as directed, to ensure that classes are managed appropriately
To be responsible for the delivery of pre-planned lessons
Supporting students with their academic and personal development
Managing the behaviour of students, ensuring that the behaviour policy is followed
Keeping a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Skills and Experience:
A degree qualification or equivalent
Previous classroom experience or experience of working with young people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with young people
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils at all times
