Cover Supervisor

£400 – £600 per week (dependent on experience)
About the role
Connex Education work with multi academy trusts in Nottingham such as Flying High Trust and Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham multi academy trust. We are currently building a supply of bank cover supervisors to provide day to day lesson cover in primary and secondary schools across Nottingham.
The role is immediate start, with both short term and long term positions available.
Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during short term absence of teachers
- Manage behaviour of students while they complete set work
- Deal with immediate problems or emergencies according to school policies
- Reporting back on behaviour of pupils during the class
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have experience working with secondary school-aged children
- Be confident in managing classroom behaviour
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be adaptable and able to supervise a range of subjects
- Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
