PPA Cover Teacher 

Salary: £140 – £210 per day

Contract: Full-Time / Flexible Opportunities Available

Location: Wolverhampton & Walsall

Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to join our dedicated team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality teaching and learning during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our pupils’ learning by delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups, ensuring continuity and consistency within the classroom.

The Role

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2

• Provide high-quality teaching that supports pupil progress and achievement

• Establish positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

• Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete the work set by class teachers

• Support the school’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within primary education

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to adapt confidently across different year groups

• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning

• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential
