Job Title: Early Career Supply Teacher

Rate of pay: £475 – £900 P/W – Dependant on experience

Location: West Bromwich

**About the role**

As an Early Career Supply Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher, while also supporting the classroom as a Teaching Assistant when required. This varied role provides valuable hands-on experience across a range of primary settings, making it an excellent stepping stone into the classroom ahead of securing a longer-term position in September. You will be expected to quickly build rapport with students, deliver pre-set lessons across different year groups, and adapt confidently to new environments, while also supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis and assisting with classroom organisation. Key responsibilities include managing behaviour, applying effective teaching and support strategies, and ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment, making this an ideal opportunity to gain broad experience before committing to a permanent role.

This is a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in an urban area, catering for children aged 2 to 11. **Role Requirements**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirming employability as a Teacher in England, Scotland & Wales
  • Previous Experience working in a Primary School settings
  • DBS On the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A clear passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth
  • Commitment to the profession of working in Education
