Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Finsbury Park, London
Type: Mon to Fri 12pm until 6pm
Salary: £16-£17 an hour (dependant on experience and qualification levels)
About the role:

One of the lovely children’s centres we work alongside are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to work the above hours in their reception class. A knowledge of phonics is essential to this role so a specialism would be a great benefit.
About the Nursery:
Our Children’s Centre offers high-quality day care and early education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Recognised as a Healthy Early Years London Bronze Award setting, they are committed to supporting children’s health, wellbeing, and development. What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification related to Early Years (essential)
- Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred, not essential)
- Early Years’ experience (essential)
- Phonics specialism/interest (preferred, not essential)
- A genuine love for working with children.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience and a caring personality.
- Driver’s license (preferred, not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting staff and children within local nurseries
- Participate in engaging activities and educational programs.
- Delight children with play and learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Follow health and safety protocols.
