Salary: £765 – £1,110 per week, dependent on experience (MPS1 – UPS1)
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week), ASAP start until end of summer term

About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting for a qualified Teacher of English to join a thriving secondary school in the Harborne area of Birmingham. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the summer term. There is a strong possibility of a permanent position from September, and interested candidates will have the opportunity to apply.
You will be teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, and will join a supportive, forward-thinking department. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning.
Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.

Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A passion for English Language and Literature.

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
