English Teacher – South Birmingham Secondary School

Connex Education are recruiting an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher for our secondary school client based in South Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term supply role starting ASAP, teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 to mixed-ability groups. If you live near to the Kings Heath, Moseley, Yardley area this is a very local school for you to get to.
Role Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Mark and assess students’ work in line with school and departmental policies.

Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.

Contribute positively to the English department and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) – essential.

Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

A passion for supporting students’ progress and achievement.
