About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher looking for flexible work in Reading? We are recruiting for ongoing temporary supply opportunities, including both day-to-day and long-term placements. This role offers the chance to teach in a range of school settings, gain valuable experience, and make a positive impact on students’ learning, all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary-aged pupils.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Support pupils’ academic progress and encourage a love of learning.
Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Job Requirements
✔️ QTS is welcomed, although experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered.
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
❤️ A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
️ Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and school staff.
Commitment to equality, inclusion, and creating a positive learning environment.
️ Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
