About the Role: English Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
The school is currently seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to enhance its esteemed Humanities department. The ideal candidate will:
- Instruct English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Cultivate a love for reading and writing among students
- Guide pupils through GCSE English examinations
- Participate in the development of innovative curricula and after-school programs
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to uphold the highest standards of literacy instruction
Person Specification
Experience:
- Demonstrated success in teaching English at both KS3 and KS4 levels
- Proficiency in preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature examinations
- Proven ability to engage and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field
- PGCE or equivalent teaching certification

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
