About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with several welcoming Primary Schools and Early Years settings across the Mansfield area, who are recruiting for EYFS Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. The role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days: delivering engaging early years lessons, maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment, and supporting pupils’ development and progress. No lesson planning is required.

They are seeking dedicated, flexible, and enthusiastic teachers who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff while delivering engaging, play-based and curriculum-led EYFS learning.
Assignment details
These roles are available from January and can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Opportunities include both day-to-day supply and long-term assignments, allowing flexibility to suit individual availability and preferences.

Person specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience working with children aged 3–5 in a UK primary school or EYFS setting
-
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
-
Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate and play-based learning

Knowledge of the EYFS framework, early phonics, and early reading approaches such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
