About the role:
Connex Education are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting pupils with SEND. This is a full-time role. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant at this fantastic School you will be required to interact with pupils using a learning through play based strategy.
About the School:
This purpose built SEND School caters for pupils aged between 3-11 years with complex needs such as ASC,GDD,Downs Syndrome and PMLD. All staff work collectively to provide a nurturing, calm and engaging learning environment.
Assignment details:
This role is full-time and will commence in February. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.3pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant and there is a chance of a contract for the right candidate.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting EYFS pupils with SEND either in a School or nursery.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- A good understanding of early child development.
- Able to communicate well and be patient.
- Be able to interact well with children.
- Be able to contribute to observations and willing to set up the classroom.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
