About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving secondary school in Chadwell Heath for a Geography Teacher to join their dynamic Humanities department. This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their careers in a supportive and well-structured environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. You will be part of a dedicated team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Salary: Main Pay Scale (Inner London) – M1 to M6
Person Specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher, including ECTs, who meets the following criteria:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or is completing teacher training this academic year
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
- A passion for Geography and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
- A team player, eager to take part in CPD and professional development opportunities
- A DBS check on the update service or willingness to provide a new one
