Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Support and nurture students’ development, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance the educational experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, lesson planning, and resource development.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar educational role.
  • A deep understanding of educational best practices and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • HLTA Level 4 qualification or higher.
  • Enhanced DBS (or a willingness to get one).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed.
