About the Role:
Connex Education is looking for a passionate and experienced Home Tutor to support children and young adults aged 5 to 25 across Birmingham B12 and nearby areas. This role involves delivering high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners who are not currently in mainstream education, often due to a variety of SEND, SEMH, or trauma-related needs.
Tuition will typically take place in the student’s home, and as the role may involve travel to multiple locations, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are highly desirable. Learners may use alternative communication methods such as Makaton, communication books, or gestural prompts.
While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, we welcome applications from skilled tutors and educators who have a strong grasp of the UK curriculum and experience working with pupils with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised, engaging 1:1 tuition aligned to individual learning plans and EHCPs
