About the role

Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Leeds. As an inclusion support worker you will be responsible for ensuring access to education for a specific group of pupils or an individual pupil.  You will contribute to the wider work of the inclusion team through driving our inclusion agenda, including engaging and re-engaging children into school including children who fae multiple barriers in engaging in school.

The school promotes high expectations of behaviour and positive attitudes. It is located in the LS11 area of Leeds and is two form entry.    

Assignment details

This role is long term assignment starting September 2026 – July 2027 (32.5 hours per week). It is a fixed term contract with the opportunity to continue.

Person Specification

  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
  • Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
  • Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
  • Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
