Connex Education are working with an SEMH school in Middlesbrough who are looking for an intervention teacher to support students across KS3/KS4 . The school are part of a multi academy trust and have a passionate and dedicated SLT.
The role will consist of working with students to bridge gaps in learning, or supporting to re-engage in the classroom. You will be planning and preparing any resources needed to support within subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
Successful applicants will need
Hold QTS, PGCE in Science or Maths but will need to confident in both subjects
·Hold a DBS or be willing to apply for a DBS
·Relevant experience working with learning difficulties
·Enthusiastic and ability to adapt to difficult situations
·Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people
·Confident in your behaviour management skills
