About the role
Connex Education is working with a large mainstream primary schools in the Whitby area who use regular cover for Primary Teachers and are now looking for a KS1 Teacher to support for atleast 2 terms from September in the new academic year.
About the school
As a Primary Teacher with Connex you will be working with a welcoming school who pride themselves on aspiration, inspiration, collaboration and celebrating, creating a nurturing environment that enables children to be successful learners. As a Primary Teacher in this role, you will be covering a KS1 classroom. The school are looking for an ambitious and enganging teacher with good behaviour managament. This is also a great opportunity for a newly qualifed teacher.
Assignment Details
This is a full time role working 8:30am- 3:45pm. There are opportunities for Primary Teachers with Connex for immediate cover work available until July and full time and part time roles available from September too. We have work to suit those looking for 2-5 days per week or full time work for either day-to-day, short term or long term cover.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Have experience of teaching pupils in a primary school or similar setting
- Be confident covering and teaching a full classroom of pupils
- Good Knowledge of EYFS/KS1
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
