Connex Education Partnership are looking for an experienced Learning Mentor who has experience of working on a 1:1 basis.
The role is full-time working with a year KS3 learner. The successful candidate will be a key worker, promoting positive learning and engaging them into their lessons.
You will ideally hold a minimum level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and already have experience working with learners with additional needs. You must be flexible in your approach to work and be able to assist the learner on a daily basis, to help them learn, understand and progress in their studies. A positive outlook is essential for this role, and the ability to identify when the learner is struggling in social situations. Experience of working with learners or adults with ADHD would be an advantage.
