Learning Support Assistants required
Within Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding area
£400 – £600 per week
The Role:
Connex Education is excited to be partnering with multiple Primary and Secondary schools within the Stoke-on-Trent area to recruit learning support assistants. As a learning support assistant, you’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for all pupils. We have lots of opportunities available.
What you’ll do:
Support pupils with their learning in a classroom setting
Assist the class teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment
Help implement behaviour management strategies
Provide one-on-one support to pupils as needed
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
To be successful in this role, you should:
Previous experience working with children in an education setting is desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward helping students achieve their potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
