About the Role
Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher?
Are you an ECT looking for work in schools to gain more experience?
Connex Education are working closely with a MAT across South Manchester and we are looking for Supply Teachers to cover when necessary in their schools. You could be covering in any year group from Reception up to Year 6, teaching children of various backgrounds and ability levels.
You would be expected to teach pre-planned lessons and support children with any challenges they face and uphold a high standard of behaviour management throughout the school day.
This is an amazing opportunity for experienced teachers to start a new challenge and refresh. Also, for ECT’s it is a fantastic role to get your career kickstarted in teaching!
Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification and these schools require a more stringent clearance level with requiring the last 2 years fully referenced.

Person Specification
- Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
- You MUST hold UK QTS
- Experience in schools in the UK
- Have the last 2 years fully referenceable
- Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
