This is a medium sized secondary school based in Derby city centre. The school are proud to have maintained their ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted grading in recent years and are committed heavily to continuing these standards. Vacancy Details:
- To teach Maths to KS3 and KS4
- To plan lessons, deliver the lessons and to assess pupil work on a full time basis
- Providing academic and pastoral support to pupils, including parent evening attendance
- Ensuring that all pupils are provided with an environment that is safe and promotes learning
- To work as part of a key team of experienced staff
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number as a specialist in Maths
- Experience of working as a teacher in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
- Full enhanced DBS certificate
- Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process
- The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.
- A minimum of 2 school based references
