Connex Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and qualified Teacher of Music to join a vibrant secondary school in South Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the summer term, with potential for extension or a permanent position for the right candidate.
Position Details:

Role: Teacher of Music (KS3 & KS4)

Location: South Birmingham, near to the B14 area

Duration: Until end of summer term (with possible extension)

Salary: £765 – £1,110 per week (dependent on experience, paid to scale via PAYE)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music teacher with QTS to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management, a commitment to high standards, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. A confident use of IT in teaching is also essential.
Candidate Requirements:

QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)

Experience teaching Music in secondary schools (KS3 and KS4)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Strong behaviour management

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
