Primary NQT’s & Secondary NQT’s (All Subject Specialisms)

Connex Education Wales are currently seeking applications from NQT’s on the lookout for their first teaching role from September 2023 due to an increase in demand for Primary and Secondary subject specialist teachers.

Connex Education Wales can offer support for those teachers seeking a new role in the new academic year and can help to secure day to day cover, short-term and long-term positions locally on supply in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

We can offer:

• Fully funded internal CPD and training platform provided for those looking to take on additional development courses.
• Opportunities to complete your induction year on short term supply.
• Support and guidance in liaison with the EWC.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

This should be somebody who has:

• A relevant teaching qualification, such as a BEd or PGCE, with QTS or equivalent.
• The ability to rapidly build relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A commitment to raising school standards through high-quality teaching.
• An enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the update service or be willing to complete a new one through CEW.
• Registered with the EWC in the correct category.
• Ability to provide 2 professional references.
