About the role
Connex Education are working with a nursery who are looking for an experienced cover Nursery Assistant to work part time and support their Early years Cohort. They are seeking Nursery Assistants who are specialised and qualified in EYFS who are open to long term cover from 6 months up to 1 year.
About the Nursery
This nursery we are working with offer a flexible childcare service that meets the needs of all families and children, you would need to be ideally available between 7:30am and 6pm, 3 days per week to help support for this cover position. You will be welcomed by a team of friendly Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Staff.
This Nursery Assistant position is offering an start in May 2025. An EYFS qualification and experience working in schools or nurseries is essential for this role.

Person Specification
- Nursery Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Qualification for EYFS – essential
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary environment or within a nursery
- Be confident working with small groups or 1:1 as a key person
- Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex – Costing Approximately £50
