Role: Nursery Assistant
Rate of pay: £425 – £475 P/W
Location: West Midlands – Solihull
**About the role**
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the care, learning, and development of children aged from birth to five years within our nursery setting. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive through play and structured activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily routines such as feeding, changing, and toileting, supervising play, and contributing to the planning and delivery of engaging educational experiences. You will also support nursery practitioners in maintaining high standards of care, cleanliness, and hygiene, while building positive relationships with parents and carers to share children’s progress and experiences.

**Role Requirements**
- Referenceable Childcare experience working in a nursery setting
- Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (e.g. CACHE Level 2 Certificate or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education)
- Able to provide previous 2 years’ worth of referencing
- Strong Communication and ability to work independently
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the school
- Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
