Role: Early Years Practitioners

Connex Education are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Early Years practitioners to provide general classroom support, and 1:1 support in primary schools in Southport. A minimum of Level 2 TA or Level 2 Childcare is essential for this role.
About the school:
Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of supplying Early Years Practitioners to primary schools in Southport. We supply Early Years staff to primary schools in the following areas:
– Ainsdale
– Birkdale
– Southport (centre)
– Churchtown
About the supply role:
The role will involve providing general support and 1:1 support in Nursery and Reception classes in primary schools. The majority of the work will involve providing general support in Nursery classes on a day-to-day basis, and long-term 1:1 support in Reception classes.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC) or Level 2/3 TA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in Early Years is essential for this role.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
