About the role
Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Leeds helping them appoint an Nursery Teaching Assistant. This is to work in their nursery on a a full-time basis. The role is suitable for a L2 or L3 qualified childcare professional.

This welcoming Primary school is in Leeds and provides an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The Nursery is attached to the school and the hours are school hours 8.30 – 15.30. It has a supportive team and is OFSTED “good”.
Assignment details
This role is long term assignment starting September 2026 – January 2026 (32.5 hours per week). It has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Person Specification
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
- Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
