Long term placement with potential to lead to permanent position with school
Connex Education are working with a school in Stockton-On-Tees who are looking for an experienced Pastoral Manager to work with children in KS3 and KS4.
You will be working with children through out the school supporting with pastoral care and support. It is essential that you have previous experience within a U.K based school working within a pastoral role , or as support working with behaviours for learning.
Essential requirements
- Be able to build relationships with students
- Be a good role model , nurturing and patient
- Have previous experience of supporting behaviour to learning
- Be able to work as part of a team, be flexible where needed
- Working under own initative and time management
- Possess a successful record of working with children in a support or pastoral role
- Experience within a U.K based setting
- Enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
- Be able to provide references for last 2 years employment
- Learnt strategies on how to encourage good behaviour and positive learning
This role is to start ASAP so it is essential that you already have an enhanced DBS on the update service .
