PE Teacher (Full-Time Cover)
Secondary School Bury
28th September – 30th November 2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable PE teacher to cover a full-time position at a secondary school in Tottington, near Bury, from 28th September to 30th November. The post is to cover an extended paternity position.
The role:
- Full-time PE cover across KS3/KS4
- Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the school’s PE curriculum
- Supporting extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures where required
- Working alongside a supportive PE department
- Planning and marking will be completed by the Head of Department
We’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching secondary PE
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Availability for the full assignment period (28th Sept – 30th Nov)
