Role and Responsibilities:
As a PE Teacher at this esteemed Grammar School, you will have the exciting opportunity to teach core Physical Education to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. Your role will play a vital part in promoting physical fitness, well-being, and a positive attitude towards sports and physical activities among young girls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and sportsmanship.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments in alignment with the national curriculum.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness, inspiring students to stay active and motivated.
- Organize extracurricular activities and sports events to enhance students’ skills and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialization in Physical Education or relevant subject.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 is advantageous.
